We are a group of dog lovers, no one loves their job more than we do! Each member of our staff has been disciplined and trained in caring for dogs in a single or group setting.
Michelle and Kimm have a combined experience of over 50 years of caring for dogs! These skill sets are invaluable in dealing with a large group of dogs. Please read the bios of our expert staff below!
Michelle Latham - Owner/Manager & Pack Leader
Michelle opened Dog Dayz doggie daycare in September 2001. Her vision was simple: make canine friends for life in a safe, cage free environment. After nearly 20 years of providing exceptional care to all her canine friends, that vision still holds true today! Her passion, care and knowledge shows through to every dog she meets. She cares for each dog in her daycare facility and in her home as if they were her own. She, along with her current 4 legged kids — Olivia a rescued pitty mix and Remington, a rescued Labrador/Great Dane mix — look forward to your pooch joining the Dog Dayz family!

Sarah Futia - Assistant Manager & Pack Leader
Sarah joined the pack in April 2022 as our assistant manager.
Not only does she have 12 years of management and leadership experience, but is a consistent provider of award winning customer service from previous employers.
In addition to these skills that she’s happy to provide, she is also a major animal lover. She intends on going to school to pursue a degree in animal science and has the workmanship to show her dedication. She has worked on horse farms and loves to ride. She’s not shy of any species and has worked with critters big and small! Her kind and empathetic nature towards animals is evident in not only her work, but her communication as well!
Sarah currently resides in Wilmington with family— including her two cats (Mads and Marty,) leopard gecko (Apollo,) and hedgehog (Sarge.) She also loves to paddle board and would love to travel more!
